Pastor Sachin Mathew
Pastor Sachin Mathew is the lead Pastor at Faith City Church in Saint John, New Brunswick. He hails from a middle class family in Southern India, his spiritual journey began from an Orthodox Church in Kerala, accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour when he was 17 years old, took water baptism 3 years later. He served the Lord in different parts of India and was actively involved in youth ministry before moving to Saudi Arabia and served as a pastor along with his secular job as a Project Manager. He got married to a God fearing and committed girl who is a Dentist by profession, in the year 2007, right before he moved to Saudi Arabia and they were blessed with 2 wonderful kids. He completed his M Div (Masters in Divinity) during his stay in Saudi Arabia. After 10 years in Saudi Arabia, he moved to Canada along with his family, where he served the Lord and started a small English fellowship in Edmonton, Alberta before moving to Saint John, NB. Under God’s guidance, he was able to be part of the pioneer Malayalam worship in New Brunswick. Currently he is serving in Faith City Church with his wife, Sneha and kids, Steven and Serah. His passion is to work among the youth, and new families in Canada, with a desire to see a godly generation who truly represent Christ through their lives to be a light and salt in this land.
